Rising 250 feet over the surrounding countryside, the impressive Stirling Castle is regarded as one of the most important fortresses in Scotland. It has served as a stronghold and a palace.
It is allegedly haunted by a woman dressed in pink that walks a route between the Castle and Lady's Rock near the church. Also sighted is the green lady - said to be the ghost of one of Mary, Queen of Scots servants.
